Orbit Developments recently celebrated with the best localbusinesses at the hugely successful Macclesfield & WilmslowBusiness Awards 2011. Orbit were proud to be one of the mainsponsors at the awards, the first ever to be held for the localbusiness community. The awards were welcomed by Macclesfield &Wilmslow businesses and over 300 people attended the black-tie galadinner which was held at the Capesthorne Hall on the10th November. The evening comprised of the prestigiousawards ceremony and included entertainment from the inspiring andhugely successful local businesswoman Dawn Gibbons MBE, managingdirector of Flowcrete as well as hearing from the Mayor of CheshireEast Councillor Roger West.
Orbit Developments sponsored the award for ‘Business of the YearTurnover up to £5 million’ which was awarded to eco-friendlyloyalty card company Plastic Card Services for their all-roundexcellence in business.

Guests on the night raised £3,200 for East Cheshire Hospice theMacclesfield based charity which cares for adults suffering fromlife-limiting illnesses from which there is no cure. The hospiceneeds £6,000 a day to be able to provide care and support forpatients.
