JD Sports has officially relocated to a larger store at Aintree Racecourse Retail Park, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the popular retail destination.
The leading sports fashion retailer has moved from its previous 8,030 sq ft unit into a larger 12,240 sq ft store, allowing it to offer customers an even wider range of the brands and products they love.
Having traded successfully at Aintree Racecourse Retail Park since 2013, JD Sports has built a strong customer base, making the decision to expand a natural next step when the opportunity arose.
The new store opened on 6 August, with launch celebrations continuing throughout the opening weekend on 8 and 9 August. Customers visiting the store were given the chance to win prizes and JD cash as part of the retailer’s opening promotions.
JD Sports continues to evolve its store portfolio across the UK. While the retailer currently operates around 380 stores nationwide, its strategy has increasingly focused on creating fewer, larger and more experience-driven locations that can showcase a broader product range and enhance the customer journey.
