On Wednesday, 17th July, Orbit Developments hosted a Summer Barbecue Event exclusively for the occupiers of Tytherington Business Village, providing an opportunity to take a break from the working day and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
From 12:00pm to 2:00pm, tenants were invited to enjoy a barbecue with freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs, along with soft drinks, and ice cream served from a traditional ice cream van.
The event offered more than just food, with outdoor lawn games such as giant Jenga and Swingball set up to encourage interaction and some light-hearted competition, along with music and deckchairs set out for people to relax.
The event was well attended and received positive feedback from tenants, many of whom appreciated the chance to step away from their desks, socialise, and connect with others on the park.
Surveyor Dean Richards was delighted with the turn out:
“It was fantastic to see so many people coming together to enjoy some food, ice cream, and games, and so many smiling faces from all who got involved. With so many different businesses based across the offices here, it’s easy for people to stick to their own spaces—so events like this are a great way to bring everyone together.
We’re really focused on building a stronger sense of community at Tytherington Business Village. We’re already offering yoga and mindfulness classes, and the on-site café does a great job of serving as a central hub for people. We can’t wait to host more events like this in the future.”
We would like to thank all those who attended and contributed to the success of the event, and we look forward to doing it again next year!
Consisting of nineteen individual buildings, Tytherington Business Village offers a wide selection of retail, industrial and office space in Macclesfield, just 2 miles north of the town centre.
