Orbit Developments, one of the largest providers of commercial property in the UK, has secured a number of new lettings at its Academy Business Park including Rexel, a leading supplier to the electrical industry with over 200 branches nationwide and LiverPrint, a specialist in workwear, uniform and branded merchandise. These new lettings follow other units being snapped up earlier in the year by Screwfix and Costa — creating a go-to hub for business supplies in Knowsley, Liverpool.

Following investment from Orbit Developments, the business park is able to support a range of organisations looking for premises ranging from warehousing to trade counters and eateries. The creation of the trade counter units was part of its second phase of development on the site, which also included a 110,000sqft warehouse.

The result is a thriving business park that is attracting national chains and supporting the local economy. Together Rexel and LiverPrint have leased over 8,000 sqft and taken up leases of 10 years each, respectively, demonstrating that they see the Orbit Developments properties as part of their businesses’ continuing success.
