About me

I love spoiling a good walk by trying to hit a small white ball into a hole.

I follow Stockport County and have done since 1964, although I have stopped going to matches – maybe I will when they are back in the Football League – one can dream!

I love dance music and occasional trips to Ibiza with friends and bi-annual trips to Tenerife with the wife for a more relaxing holiday – well, sort of!

Ideal connections
Bolton is one of the largest towns in Greater Manchester and has a population of around 242,000, split between several smaller towns and villages including Farnworth and Westhoughton. The town centre has a great range of high street names and independent retailers, places to eat and relax.

The Valley leads directly onto the A666 Blackburn Road which allows easy access to the M60, M61, M62 and M6 motorways. It is just over a mile away from Bolton railway station, which runs regular services to Manchester and the airport to the South, and Preston and Blackpool to the North.
