Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park, the largest retail park in the UK, will see flourishing changes to their customer offerings this year with the introduction of 4 new retailers in 2023.
Following the arrival of Carrs Pasties, who opened their first retail park shop last month, the Bolton-based bakery will be joined by global brands Five Guys and Skechers later this year at Middlebrook Retail Park.
Five Guys, the fast-food chain specialising in creating customised burgers, will join the line up as Middlebrook expands it’s offering to almost 20 foodies ranging from coffee shops, to grab & go, to restaurants.
Skechers, one of the top 10 international leading footwear retailers with nearly 100 stores across the UK, will open in a 5,200 sqft unit (formerly occupied by Poundland), which includes men’s, women’s and children’s.
Along with Five Guys and Skechers, additional new retailers to the park include Designer Sofas, part of the Natuzzi Group, who will be opening in a 10,200 sq ft unit (formerly the Halfords store), and the newly re-located TUI who will be opening its refurbished doors in the Autumn following a relocation to a proportionally sized retail unit.
“We are delighted to welcome these new retailers to Middlebrook in 2023” says Mark Hanna, Senior Retail Leasing Surveyor of Orbit Developments.
“They are all popular and well-respected brands, and we are confident that they will be a great addition to our already impressive range of retailers. We are sure that they will be welcomed by our customers.”
Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park is located in Horwich just a 1-minute drive off Junction 6 of the M61. The addition of the 4 new retailers is a further boost for Middlebrook, who already welcome almost 1 million customers each month. The retail park is currently home to over 50 shops and restaurants, as well as a cinema and bowling alley.
Middlebrook is also one of three retail parks owned and managed by Orbit Developments within the Bolton area. Other retail parks in Orbit’s property portfolio include Central Retail Park and Burnden Park, both within a 5-minute drive of Bolton train station situated in the town centre.
