Pets at Home has taken 9,598 sq ft of office space at StanleyCourt located on Handforth’s prominent Stanley Green Business Parkwhich is owned and managed by South Manchester landlord OrbitDevelopments.
Pets at Home who offer ‘the ultimate pet shop experience’already has a headquarters building located on the Handforth-basedbusiness park. Due to ambitious growth, the retailer requiredoffice space to accommodate up to 90 colleagues whilst being in theimmediate vicinity of their other facility.
Orbit Developments worked closely with the group during theirexpansion plans and were able to offer Stanley Court. Thethree-storey building is currently in the process of being upgradedand refurbished as part of Orbit’s on-going investmentprogramme.

The pet retailer has recently hailed strong revenue growthdriven by the success of its customer membership scheme, VIP Club,strength in sales of its Advanced Nutrition food range, as well asgrowth in its pet grooming business and vet practices.
The first half of the financial year 2015 saw Pets at Home add10 stores, 25 veterinary practices and 23 Groom Rooms to itsportfolio. The full financial year target is for 25 new stores, 60new veterinary practices and 50 new Groom Room salons. Pets at Homenow have more than 380 stores across the UK.
