With dry skies and a strong tail wind Hike the Hill, theexciting new event in aid of East Cheshire Hospice and Blythe Housesponsored by Orbit Developments was a tremendoussuccess.

The 15 mile hike took place on September 11th from Blythe HouseHospice in Chapel-en-le-Frith through the beautiful Peak Districtto East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield was enjoyed by over 200walkers.

The route that passed through tranquil valleys and includedtough climbs incorporated some of the most breathtaking sceneryaround. Although not a walk for the faint hearted walkers of manyabilities enjoyed the day.

Both hospices would like to express their thanks andappreciation to not only the walkers and theirs sponsors but alsothe many volunteers who supported the day.
