Orbit Developments has let the 22,000 sq ft office building 2 Daten Park in Birchwood to engineer Stantec for 10 years.

Stantec will move out of Hines’s Dominion House, also in Birchwood, in the summer, to take the larger premises. The quoting rent on Daten Park is £15.95/sq ft.

Simon Roddam, director of BE Group, joint letting agent with CBRE, said: “This is a big office letting for Warrington and we are pleased to say we are over the line with it. Whilst 2019 presented obstacles related to economic uncertainty, thankfully large successful organisations like Stantec still need to make real estate decisions. Warrington continues to provide great opportunities for growing businesses.”

Stantec is a top tier design and engineering consultancy with over 400 locations across the globe.

Paul Hubball, director of Orbit Developments, commented: “Since acquiring buildings 1, 2 and 3 at Daten Park in 2018, Orbit has invested in the refurbishment of these buildings, and the wider office scheme, which has resulted in Bilfinger Engineering, Stantec and Grundfos Pumps taking just over 52,000 sq ft with us. We are pleased to say that Daten Park is now 100% occupied, but we still have options for occupiers seeking space in our growing Warrington portfolio.”
