Orbit Developments has secured the largest letting in GreaterManchester so far this year by letting 50,000 sq ft headquarters togrowing white goods retailer DRL at 5A Parklands, MiddlebrookBolton.
DRL has taken a 15 year lease on the property at a rental valueof £15.50 per sq ft. The business is moving to accommodateits projected growth in staff numbers for its Appliances Onlinebrand.
DRL’s turnover has jumped from £50 million to £275 million inthe last four years, and makes the move into 5A Parklands, just tenmonths after taking 30,000 sq ft in Aspinall House,Middlebrook.
