Orbit Developments Managing Director, Tony Jones recently tookpart in a gruelling 150 mile cycle ride as part of a 35 strong teamdedicated to raising funds for their chosen charity – The ProstateCancer Charity.
The team who train on a regular basis in preparation for eventssuch as this, embarked on the cycle event over a 2 day period. Thearduous route started at Timperley with the cyclists crossing thefinish line at Ross on Wye, a small market town inHerefordshire. Day 1 consisted of an intense 90 miles throughthe Cheshire countryside and onto Staffordshire with day 2consisting of 60 miles heading towards the county ofHerefordshire.
Collectively the team raised an impressive £13,000 for charitysurpassing their target of £5,000. Employees at Orbit Developmentshelped Tony alone raise £1,600 for the charity.
