Orbit Developments has announced that landmark Park Square inCheadle totalling 133,000 sq ft is now fully let following an arrayof recent lettings.
Since the refurbishment programme completed in July 2011, ParkSquare has become company HQ to a variety of businesses. Thebuilding became fully let following recent transactions including a67,500 sq ft letting to US-owned engineering consultancy ‘JacobsUK’ and a 10,100 sq ft deal to pensions and business servicesprovider ‘myCSP’.
Engineering firm Jacobs were impressed by the buildings on-siteamenities including the staff canteen and leisure facilities andchose to merge their various Cheadle offices into one main basefollowing their initial letting of 10,000 sq ft in October2011.
Prior to that, ‘Welspun UK’ who are the supplier of the UK’s No1branded towel Christy, took 12,000 sq ft within the building and’On the Beach Limited’ – a leading online retailer of beachholidays relocated 150 employees from their Didsbury base to 17,500sq ft of office space at Park Square. Both deals were taken over a10-year period and the building now acts as their company HQ.
