Colleagues from one of the North West’s largest commercial andresidential property group have run up a fantastic £2,185 for localcharity Millie’s Trust.
The 21-strong team of runners from Orbit Developments and sistercompany Jones Homes took part in the Big Stockport 10K Run aroundthe town centre.
Making up Team Orbit were Claire Stott, Chris Parry, Rhys Owen,Paul McLeman, Terry Russell, Giles Hardern, Amanda Wyatt, LouiseMorgan, Mark Royle, Pete Woodward, Robert Hallworth, JonShufflebotham, Penny Moorhead, Peter Shaw, Glenn Savage, EmilyRichards, Tom Loomes, Kerren Phillips, Gemma Pownall, Phil Williamsand Alex Little.
Marketing Assistant for Orbit and keen runner Claire Stott said:”We had a brilliant time. It was great to see so many colleaguesinvolved and get the chance to raise so much money at the sametime. There was an amazing atmosphere around the course. It carriedus all over the line – some with a personal best!”
Orbit Developments have 12 commercial properties in the towncentre with several on the Big Run route and backed the event fromthe beginning.

Organised by Life Leisure, the Big Stockport Run is in its thirdyear and part of Stockport’s Big Event Series which includes aswim, walk and run.
It aims to encourage more people in the Borough to participatein sport and lead active and healthy lifestyles.
