Occupancy at Parkway Business Centre now at 80%

Orbit Developments has announced that its iconic Manchesterbased business park is now at 80% occupancy.

The rise in occupancy rate follows significant investment fromlandlord Orbit Developments across all 5 buildings at the parktotalling £500,000 which were completed in September 2012.Investment focus was given particularly to Parkway 2 and Parkway 4.Both buildings benefited from high specification improvements tothe reception areas, common areas and the creation of some smallmanaged offices suitable for 1 person upwards.

Recently businesses that have taken space at Parkway include;Edenhouse Solutions, B&R Industrial Automation, Zen software,Selux limited and Moffatt Financial Planning limited. Allbusinesses range in size and background reinforcing the messagethat Parkway Business Centre caters for all types of businessesfrom start-up’s to larger corporates. All businesses were attractedby the proximity to the city centre coupled with the benefits ofbusiness park life including an on-site café, parking and aprofessional landscaped environment.

Landlord Orbit Developments has recently benefitted from a boostto its lettings team with the addition of experienced lettingssurveyor Phil Meakin to its team. Previously Phil was one of threepartners at Manchester city centre based P3 Property Consultants.Part of Phil’s new role will be to ensure the remainder of thespace available at Parkway Business Centre is shortly occupied.
