Deputy Mayor cuts the ribbon to open new Starbucks store

Today marked the grand opening of the first branch of Starbucks in Northwich, where Deputy Mayor, Kate Cernik cut the ribbon to offically open the brand new store.  The first 100 customers received a takeaway cup filled with surprises, and there was a queue round the block with people eager to get their hands on the goodies.

The site on Station Road owned by Orbit Developments, previously housed a car showroom and car rental store which were demolished before planning permission was granted to build the new store.

The store will be a drive-thru venue and has created 18 jobs for the local community.

The store will be open from 6.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 6.30pm on Sundays.
