NEW DEALS AT MANSION HOUSE

Orbit Developments has let 11,877 sq ft at its Mansion Houseproperty on Wellington Road South in Stockport town centre to theUK’s largest mutual retailer The Co-operative, First Money Directand a leading financial services company.

Taking 3,820sq ft on a 15-year lease, the new Co-operative Foodstore will join ten others that The Group owns in the Stockportarea. Money Direct has taken 1,137sq ft of office space on afive-year lease while 6,920 sq ft has been let to a leadingfinancial services company who has taken the whole of the third andpart of the second floor.

Mark Hanna, senior retail leasing surveyor at Orbit Developmentssaid: “The addition of a convenience store to the ground floor ofMansion House is great news not only to Orbit but for our tenantsand the local community. The location of Mansion House fronting theA6 is perfect for a store of this type, providing easy access forshoppers, workers and commuters.”

A modern four-storey mixed-use development, MansionHouse has only 2,595sq ft of retail space remaining on theground floor. The building also boasts three floors of recentlyrefurbished office space with suites available from only £8psf.
