On Monday 25th July Park Square, one of OrbitDevelopments’ landmark offices was officially unveiled by theWorshipful Mayor of Stockport Councillor Les Jones and theMayoress, Jackie Jones.
Orbit announced its completion early this year after undergoingan extensive transformation, establishing itself as one of SouthManchester’s iconic developments.
The Mayor and Mayoress and guests were taken on a tour of thebuilding which included viewing part of the 133,000 sqft of officespace, the on-site restaurant and conferencing facility which cancater for over 150 people and a unique 9-hole putting course.
The Mayor of Stockport, Councillor Les Jones, said: “I wasdelighted to officially open Park Square which provides highquality office facilities fit for the 21st Century. Thisdevelopment will hopefully attract even more new businesses tolocate to Stockport.”
Mr Tony Jones, the Managing Director of Orbit Developments,commented: “Since we commenced the work 12 months ago we have fullyupgraded and re-fitted the building to provide fantastic 20,000sqft floor plates which are ideal for use either as a Headquartersfacility or a Contact Centre, due to how the building can offerthis flexibility. The excellent amenities, including the golfexperience together with the other on-site facilities such as therestaurant, will allow occupiers to recruit and retain staff inthis well located, well connected part of South Manchester. “
