Park Square AA moves in

Orbit Developments has secured a major new letting with the AA, for 11,765sqft of office space at its Park Square campus. The letting follows that of UK Biobank which took up the same amount of space late last year, meaning Park Square has let the most amount of office space in South Manchester over the past 12 months.

Following investment from Orbit the out-of-town scheme at Park Square has been updated to create a campus environment with wellness at its heart. The development provides a wealth of quality amenities for businesses and their employees, including a Peloton studio, ample green space to be enjoyed for teambuilding or relaxation, conferencing facilities, an on-site café and meeting tepees. Park Square also offers space to play, with significant outdoor spaces equipped with table tennis, boules and a nine hole golf putting course. There is even a PARKSQ App that allows those working on site to do everything from order breakfast to book classes in the Peloton studio at the touch of a button.

As an organisation that is committed to supporting the business sector in the region Orbit Developments has used local suppliers wherever possible for both the renovation works and the on-going operations of the property. A number of independent retailers on Stockport’s trendy Underbanks were used to source plants, artwork and soft furnishings; whilst Edgeley based coffee roaster, Worker Bee, provides the café’s coffee beans. Orbit has created a space that supports the local economy in as many ways as possible.

Rhys, Leasing Director of Orbit Developments comments:

“We are delighted that the AA has chosen Park Square. Following recent investment, Park Square has been repositioned to meet the changing needs and expectations of business from their work spaces. Our aim was to create a workspace with a campus feel that employees want to spend time in, supporting customers in the recruitment and retention of staff. It has certainly gone down well with our existing customers, and the AA.’

“As a family run business Orbit Developments prides itself on providing a personal touch that has been trusted in the commercial property sector for more than 50 years. Park Square represents our dedication to providing facilities that meet the individual needs of our clients, helping them to create positive working environments for their teams.”
