As businesses have evolved their property requirements post pandemic, a real focus has been on the feel, finish and quality of the space they choose. ‘Flight to quality’ was rarely heard until the last couple of years, but it’s been apparent across the region that businesses are investing more in their space and expecting more from it as a result. For the bulk of companies, they don’t have the budget, the cash in the bank, the time, energy and people required to design and deliver a modern-day exciting office fit out – so that’s what we set out to solve at Highbank House, by doing it for them.

With this project Orbit have done something different. With a modern fit out of the whole 3rd floor (4,530sqft), it creates a sense of wow from the moment you walk into the suite.

Taking inspiration from a number of fit outs carried out over the last 12 months across our Stockport town centre portfolio, the scheme offers a number of informal break out meeting spaces including booths and a tiered seating town hall room. The large furnished kitchen space with its hot tap makes making a brew a breeze. Artwork by Dave Draws, a mix of contemporary furnishings and greenery in the form of living breathing plants, all add to the finish. The space is cabled up and air conditioned, and with an A rating energy performance certificate (EPC), the space is green in more than one way.
