Footasylum Steps onto Middlebrook Retail Park

Orbit Developments are pleased to welcome well-known onlineretailer Footasylum to MiddlebrookRetail and Leisure Park. The footwear and clothing stockist hasacquired 3,980 sqft on a 10 year lease. The growing high-streetretailer is set to open its doors to its 26th store atthe beginning of September.

Footasylum boasts a wide range of apparel and footwear fromleading fashion and sportswear brands including Vans, AdidasOriginals, Nike, Criminal Damage and many more.

Matthew Cox, Spokesperson for Footasylum commented: “Over thelast six years, Footasylum have climbed from strength to strength,constantly developing our shop fits and retail environments toenhance the customer experience. The new store, which intendsto be fully trading by the start of September, will not onlyintroduce a host of new brands to the current mix available in theimmediate area, but will also create thirty new jobopportunities”.

Mark Hanna, Senior Retail Leasing Surveyor of Orbit Developmentscommented: “We’ve been working hard to strengthen our line-up andwe are delighted to be welcoming a leading fashion retailer likeFootasylum to Middlebrook. The retail park has seen considerablegrowth this year with footfall steadily increasing. I am confidentthat Footasylum will attract new shoppers to the scheme.”

Mark continued: “Footasylum’s arrival is evidence that retailerscontinue to regard Middlebrook as a prime target for out of townexpansion”.

 

At 646,500 sq ft, Middlebrook is the largest leisure, sports andretail scheme in the UK. Footasylum will be joining a variety oftenants including River Island, Smyths Toys Superstore, Next, Marks& Spencer, Laura Ashley, Boots and Argos.

Middlebrook also boastsexcellent transport links with a dedicated train station, busservices and is located within close proximity to theM61.
