Citation Ltd who are a leading provider of Health & Safety,Employment Law and HR Services in the UK have agreed a 10 year deal with Orbit Developments to take part of the ground floor and the entire first floor of Kings Court in Wilmslow totalling 18,266 sqft.
Citation Ltd has been in operation for 20 years and based in Citation House since 2009. Following a period of growth after acquiring Bibby Consulting & Support Ltd in 2013, the company were looking for new office space in Wilmslow which would provide a more efficient working environment.
Following the end of a 25 year lease with Astra Zeneca in December 2014, Orbit Developments embarked on a significant refurbishment programme of the 35,865 sq ft Kings Court building which offers some of South Manchester’s largest floor plates. The entire building has been re-modelled with new air conditioning,lifts and toilets alongside a new reception and upgrades to the core areas. Kings Court is due for completion in March with Citation scheduled to move to their new premises in August of this year.
Chris Morris CEO of Citation Ltd commented: “Citation Ltd is looking forward to moving to Kings Court in August following a period of growth. As the building has been undergoing refurbishment works, it has allowed us to start a fresh and design the office space to suit our individual requirements right from the outset”.
He went on to say: “The location is unrivalled right in theheart of Wilmslow, just off Water Lane with on-site car parkingwhich is crucial for our business needs”.
Paul McLeman, Director of Orbit Developments commented: “We are pleased to announce that 50% of the building has been pre-let before the refurbishment to the building is complete which shows the strength of the Wilmslow market. We will be bringing the remaining space comprising of ground floor of 4,133 sq ft and second floor of 11,657 sq ft to the market by the end of March and anticipate strong interest from a very active Wilmslow office market”.
