Poole Alcock, one of Cheshire’s leading law firms, is opening a new office in Wilmslow as part of their latest move in an expansion plan which aims to position the practice as a leading provider of legal services across the North West.

The firm has taken over Orbit Development’s Poplar House on Manchester Road and will occupy all three floors of the 2,050 sq ft accommodation giving them excellent access to the vibrant town centre and local rail network.  Poplar House is just 100 yards from Wilmslow train station which benefits from direct services to Manchester and London.

Established for over 120 years, Poole Alcock is a full-service law firm which combines traditional values with the best of modern technology to provide its clients with a friendly and efficient service.

Its solicitors have specialisms in Family Law, Litigation, Wills and Probate, Personal Injury, Employment Law, Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Criminal and Regulatory Defence.

Wilmslow will take the firm’s Cheshire network to eight offices adding to legal services already provided in Alsager, Congleton, Crewe, Nantwich and Sandbach.

Commenting on the move Poole Alcock’s Managing Partner David Gaut said: ‘We have literally doubled in turnover in the last four years and are looking to grow further, both commercially and geographically.

“We put our growth down to our commitment to excellence. Our clients receive the highest possible standard of customer care and legal advice, every time they instruct us.”

James Nicholson, leasing surveyor for Orbit Developments commented: “We are delighted to welcome Poole Alcock to Wilmslow town centre and it was great to help David find space that would work for their business.”

“Poplar House met their requirements perfectly. It’s self-contained with onsite car parking for clients and is within walking distance from both the train station and amenities for employees within the town centre.”

“There is a thriving business community here in Wilmslow and we know Poole Alcock will be a welcome addition to the area. We wish them every success.”

Heading up the new office are Jane Jacques, Partner and Family Lawyer, Sarah-Jane Dunhill, Partner and Head of Litigation and Victoria Moetamedi, Conveyancing Specialist.

Sarah-Jane says ‘We are really excited to be expanding our firm into Wilmslow. We will be providing high quality legal services to local businesses and families and showing that you don’t have to go into a big city to get access to good, experienced lawyers.”
