On Wednesday 25th May guests were invited to thelaunch of the first Macclesfield and Wilmslow Business Awards
The Mayor of Macclesfield and Members of the local businesscommunity attended the event at East Cheshire Hospice, the awardsnominated charity.
The awardshave been created by NatWest in Macclesfield to celebrate thesuccess, talent and all ‘that’s good about business in MacclesfieldWilmslow and the surrounding area’. The winners will be announcedat a gala dinner at Capesthorne Hall on Thursday 10th November.
Nominations will be open from 1st July and will close on 30thSeptember; self and third party nominations are welcome.
The award categories include: Business of the Year (Turnover upto £5m – sponsored by Orbit Developments), Business of the Year(Turnover over £5m), Entrepreneur of the Year, Excellence incustomer service, The Sustainability Award, Most Promising NewBusiness, Independent Retailer of the Year, Achievement inInternational Business, Innovation and Design and Excellence inPeople Development.
