Malcolm Bailey from Orbit Developments will be cycling fromLand’s End to John O’Groats later this month, starting his mammothjourney from the firm’s flagship property, Regent House in thecentre of Stockport.
It will be the third time Malcolm has completed the 984 mile, 12day feat, having completed it in 2009 and 2011. He will be leavingStockport on August 28 to start the cycle from Land’s End on29th and hopes to be in Scotland by 9thSeptember.
The challenge is in aid to raise funds for the Royal NationalLifeboat Institution in support of his nephew who is a crew memberbased in Sillloth, Cumbria.
“Lifeboats are launched 22 times a day on average around the UKand it’s an expensive business keeping them running with no fundingfrom the government,” said Malcolm.
